Our Story

Welcome to the family! 

Our journey didn't start in a design studio—it started on a recovery mat. A few years ago, we adopted a spirited 5-month-old pup who quickly became the heart of our home. However, years later, life threw us a curveball when a leg injury left our new best friend needing extra care and support.

Being a military family, "adapt and overcome" is basically our middle name. When I couldn't find the right gear to help her heal comfortably, I decided to take matters into my own hands—literally. I picked up a needle and thread and made her a custom pouch to protect her leg. In the middle of helping her heal, I realized I’d accidentally discovered a brand-new passion for fabrics and design.

What started as a "fix-it" project quickly became my favorite creative outlet. Once her leg was all better, the sewing machine didn't stop—it just moved on to much more fun things, hence the birth of NUSA Pets, our bandana store! We realized that a bandana is more than just an accessory; it’s a badge of personality. We aren't just selling bandanas; we’re celebrating the resilience of animals and the joy they bring to our lives. Thank you for supporting our small business and being part of our story.
